Saba Lou

Though she only just finished high school, Saba Lou already has a long history in music…By 15, she was writing music of her own, and soon found herself with enough material for a full record…The resulting album, Planet Enigma, is a blend of folk and 60s-tinged rock with smart, introspective lyrics that contrast with deceptively gentle melodies. She Shreds

17 year old Saba Lou  began her recording career at the age of six, putting out a 4 song 7-inch on Atlanta’s Slaughthaus/Rob’s House Records. At the age of eight she recorded “Good Habits (and Bad)” which was used for the credits on Cartoon Network’s “Clarence” T.V. show. The song was also released in 2012 on the “Until The End” 7-inch on Seth Bogart’s (aka Hunx) label Wacky Wacko records. She recorded her debut album “Planet Enigma” at the age of fifteen featuring Ryan Sambol, of the Strange Boys,  on “Our Fate” and Erin Wood from the Spits singing back ups and adding some space synth on “Planet Enigma”. The album was recorded at Moon Studios, Berlin in late 2015- early 2016. Saba Lou is currently finishing up high school in Berlin.

Saba Lou is performing at St. Elisabeth Kirche on Friday, November 10th, 2017.
